Ripoff took $298 of unauthorized funds from my bank account

I was ripped off back in November from Cybertel Security in the amount of $298.

At the time, the bank said I allowed this to happen. I got to thinking more about it because the number I was given (866-376-9392) was a voice mail box, I couldn't find any information on this number in the reverse look up directory, I left a message, they have never called me back. At the time this was happening, I was trying to stop payment on a check I had written over the phone to another company.

I know I did not authorize this transaction, the check number they used was a number that did not exist. It was not an ACH draft, it was as if they took a check from my checkbook and cashed it for $298.

I called information trying to get the name of the business for the above number, no luck. Then I decided to plug in the 866-376-9392 in the web browser and a consumer complaints came up and it showed the same thing happened to someone else.

I contacted my bank and sent the consumer complaints to them, showing this is a scam and that it may have happened to some of the other customers besides me.

As of this date, I am keeping in touch with the bank on their progress of hopefully reversing this transaction and putting my money back into my account.
