Billed for Months of Prepaid Service After Phone Was Cut Off

I could only get pre paid service. Thats fine. But no one told me that if you do not pre pay for the following month you would be charged. When my pre pay minutes ran out I get cut off that's fine too. So let me run and get my credit card to get it back on. But don't send me bills for months of service I did not have when my phone got cut off so should the meter readings. Don't tell me I have to call and discontinue service verbally. Just don't charge me and tell me if you don't pay we'll contact your creditors. This is WRONG
