Outrageous Collect Call Rates, Ripoff

Had 18 minutes of collect calls that were billed at over $40. That's over $2 per minute. When i called they said that because i am not an at&t customer, that is the rate i get.
That is robbery! The are taking advantage of people in tough situations. They don't have the money to make the call but have to call somehow. They call collect, and at&t sees dollar signs.
What a ripoff! I'll never do business with them. Although i hear that many of the phone companies have similar tactics for collect calls. The government needs to step in here. This is ridiculous!
