Colors Galore, Jim Hile
Ripoff, painting contractor, employees not paid, dishonest, wrote bad checks, filed complaint on him, won judgement but he won't pay!

I worked for painting contractor Jim Hile aka Colors Galore in the Fall of 2004. The work site was located in Wellsboro, PA.

The last 2 pay checks from Mr. Hile bounced. It took several calls and trips to his bank (he had by then closed his account) and business for him to make these checks good.

However, wages for 51 hours worked from December 2-9 remain unpaid.

After giving Mr. Hile almost a year to make good on his obligation, I filed a Complaint with the local magistrate... And won a judgement against him.

But Mr. Hile has ignored any and all further attempts to settle this matter. He apparently considers himself above the law. Unfortunately, the law seems to have no "teeth" to force this dishonest individual to do the right thing.
