Springcom Co. Ripoff monopolized springport has no option except to pay outragous rates for subpar service and misleading sales reps

Springport Michigan is being subjected to a monopoly. It is my understanding that this illegal. Springport Telephone Company is the only telecomunications provider in the area. The company definately takes full advantage of this fact.

With the unbelievable rates, which are $40 more than what I have paid with SBC for several years. With Springcom I recieve far fewer services and no long dstance. My dsl service is slower than dial-up yet I cannot get a tech to assist me. This has proven par for the course with other problems I've had.

Customer service at Springcom can hardly be called so. Problems are seldom resolved, and never in a timely manner. The last problem I tried to call tech support for resulted in "Sir call our competitor". This really made me realize the monopoly laws really need to be inforced.
