Beware of the Business - Capital Plumbing and Mechanical, located in Columbus, Ohio. They are members of BBB and Angie's list and a lot of other organizations.

The pricing I was given to replace a wing lock stop valve is as follows:

Valve - $350.00 (when it cost $30 max)
Gas meter Spud - $129.00 (Columbia gas provides this free of charge)
Brackets to support the lines - $197 (the actual cost is $15!!!)
Locating the valve at the curb - $129 - (Columbia gas provides this free of charge)
Leak test $197

A total bill of 1004 for something that the other service providers charge less than $200.!!!

They added all the unwanted things just to get the money from me.
That is why I say that they are scam artists.
