Beware of Hidden Contract - They will collect from you!

I originally contacted Child Support Network (CSN) based on their website and promise to successfully collect unpaid child support. I had them fax a contract and application to me at work. I completed and signed both pages.

When I received a hard copy of the contract, CSN, had inserted an additional two pages between the first and second pages, making the contract four pages in length instead of two. The first page and the fourth page are faxed copies. Pages two and three are hard copies and it is obvious that they were not provided to me prior to my signing.

After reading the doctored contract, I contacted CSN and told them that I no longer required their services. Now, CSN is trying to collect the unpaid child support from me and are refusing to stop any collection action. They have called me at home demanding I send them a $500 application fee and 1/3 of the money owed me ($62,000). They stated that, based on the contract I signed, they have the right to hire an attorney at my expense to go after me, report me to the credit reporting agencies and collect against any future child support I receive even if it is from Social Security, state aid or military allotment. I then received a letter from them stating that they were not going to stop collection action even though I have requested they stop.

They are demanding that I pay them the $22,000 even though they have been fired and did nothing to collect on my behalf. They were only hired for two weeks before I fired them and now they
are coming after me - for support I never received while raising two children alone!
