Union Moving - 24 Hours Moving It is not a moving, but horrible nightmare and torture. Ripoff

As you can guess from my name, I am not a American citizen.

I am coming USA for my studying Criminal Justice degree program, and planned to move from Texas to Cincinnati, OH for my doctoral studying.

For this relocation, I made a contract with Union moving company, which became the worst decision in my life.
I, with my wife and 7-month old baby, experienced horrible agony, spent thousands dollars and have waited for my package 30 days.

But, now the subcontracted moving company disappeared, and Union moving company did not receive any calling. Please let me know what to do.

Briefly speaking their torture,

1. Union moving company subcontract my relocation to the small company that has no operating authority license number without any notification to me. Only after this nightmare began, Union moving company said to me that they have no responsibility and just let me know the telephone number to call.

2. They were supposed to pick up my package on 2:00 pm June 28th. It became 6:00 pm, and then 9:00 pm, and then 11:00 pm, and then 07:00 next morning, and then 10:00 am, and then 2:00 pm finally they arrived 04:30 and pick up my package.

3. They were also supposed to disassemble and pack my furniture. But, they brought my bed and sofa without wrapping and other tables without disassembling. I am really anxious about the condition of my furniture.

4. OK, these things can happen. But, the real serious problem is..

Union moving company said I could receive my package in 7~10 days. So, I called on July 11th. They said they have no idea about my package and I had to call 24 hours moving company. I call 24 hours moving, and the office woman said the truck would be my home on July 17~18th. But, There was no truck and no call. I called again on July 19th. She said I could receive my package on July 24th~25th. I wait for them, but there was no contact either. I called again on July 25th. They said truck will be here on July 28th. But, no call, no contact, no truck either. Called again on that day. She said it would be on July 30th, and she would let me know the time by calling on July 29th. But, after that, she disappeared. She did not give me any call, and could not be connected.

So, I called Union moving company, and they said they would check it and call me back. But, there was no call from them for a day. I called again, and they said they would call me back in one hour after checking it. But, no call. Called again, and they said they promise to call me shortly, but no call either. I called again, and now they did not receive my calling.

I wrote down just brief conditions. You can imagine the other distress that my family suffered during one month. For example, we, including my 7 month old baby, are sleeping and eating on the floor carpet.

Please, help me to get my package and let me know what to do. Please.
