Took my money but failed to deliver, Airline compensation is worthless, RIPOFF!

Registered with REQ in January, and sent them $685. Heard nothing even after being told the property would be sold in 6 - 7 weeks. The sales person suggested a very high price - $17,000 for the time share. If someone were to sell it for a higher price, REQ would send money back to me.

Called them after 7 - 8 months and found that the property was no longer listed. Had to renew the registration and sent airline tickets, which were useless. Tickets could only be used if we reserved very high price hotel rooms in specific cities.

Called Westgate Villas and found that a brand new unit can be purchased for about $14,000. I lowered our price to $13,500, but have heard nothing.

Checked with BBB and was told there was only 1 complaint but it was a minor issue.
