Janvier Jewelers
Worst in the First State, ripoff!

My family returned to Janvier to have a watch battery replaced. While I took my 3 young children out of the store my husband handed over my watch (originally purchased from Janvier) to a pushy salesman. My spouse asked him if he could replace the battery. "No problem" said the sales person.

The sales person then took a box cutter to the back of it and continiously hacked and carved into it!!! He then handed it over to my husband and told him he couldn't do it. Not even a sorry!

When my husband presented me with my watch it looked as if someone had dragged it from behind a car. It was jagged and scraped all over.

I turned around and made a bee-line for the store. The sales person tried to avoid me by trying to "help" another sales person with a sale. I faced him and said, "Would you like to fix the damage you just caused to my jewelry?" He took it in the back and I could hear him trying to buff the scratches out. He was quickly followed by 2 sales people. He handed it back to me and said that this is the best I can do. Not Acceptable. It has been 1 week and several phone calls later and no one has gotten back to me.

Trust me, there are more than just 1 jeweler in the Christiana Mall!!
