Little ripoff. Lucky i did not pay much

My account was opened and activated in september of and i had problems with one number and called and got another number but the entire time i had the account i never got a bill every month. So i told them if i could not get a bill every month that i could not pay i think i paid 50.00 two or three times, and then i started getting bills every two or three months for 500.00 at a time and i said please give me a break, on the time that i did call of course like the other customers said you waited for 40 minutes to an hour and would just hang up so last year in november my phone services we disconnected and up to this day march i have not got a bill or anything from this company. How could this be, what is really going on.
