Ripoff, fraudulant charges added to phone bill

SBC added charges to my phone bill from companies I have never even heard of. There was $43.00 added to my monthly service.

When I contacted them, they informed me that I had to contact the companies listed on the bill to rectify the problem. There were 3 different companies added.

SBC will not give any billing information to anyone other than to the person who's name is on the bill, so why would they add additional charges to that persons bill without getting consent from them.

I called the companies added to the bill to cancel them, but SBC continued to add the charges anyway.

Needless to say, I switched phone providers because it was so rediculous.
