General Savings, MED CAN refund ripoff double scam

Shops, Products, Services

I was contacted by General Savings and offered a 2,000.00 unsecured credit card as everyone else and received nothing for two months. However! I was contacted last week by a person who totally misrepresented the reason he was calling. He said he was called about the packet I never received. He asked me if I wanted my package mailed out or did I want a refund. Well of course I wanted a refund! He asked me several questions and when I would ask him a question or ask him to repeat what he was saying (did not speak English well) he would ask me to stop interrupting him because he has to have verification of the conversation and I could ask him questions after the verification process was over. After the verification process was over the person hung up on me and I could not ask any questions.

Needless to say I did not get a refund, what I did get was my account debited again in the amount of $299.95. Therefore if anyone calls and you hear the word Refund do not let them record you verifying your account information this is a Scam on top of a Scam!!!

I did eventually receive the packet from General Savings, which I sent back with a request to refund my money. I faxed the request to 1-888-868-6883 per the customer service representative. I of course have not received a refund yet. He states it will take 10 to 14 days... Which means 3 months for this company.
