General Savings ripoff, false promise of credit card guaranteed, not a prescription savings plan Clearwate

This company is a RIPPOFF! This company contacted me by phone in February selling a discount prescription card. I was told that if you purchased this Rx card for $299 you would be GUARANTEED a $2,000 unsecured credit card from Visa or Mastercard. I signed up for it... And yes I gave my checking account info for the payment... Because I am in a new job and the Rx discount would help. But, the main reason I signed up is because I wanted the "Unsecured Credit Card" that was promised to me. I was told it would take 20-30 business days to receive my cards.

The phone conversation took place in mid-February... They withdrew the funds from my account within days... I attempted to contact them every day for weeks... A message said all the lines were busy and to call back agian. I finally searched the web and found a phone number for a similarly named company, called it and was told that General Savings was having phone and computer problems. I was also told in that phone call that someone would be contacting me within 10 business days. Well, today is the 10th business day and I received this bogus packet in the mail.

The credit card is actually a CASH mastercard that you have to deposit money into for your "charges".. Not a credit card at all. And on top of all the lies they want a $39.95 processing fee!

Of course the time to reverse my decision and get a refund has probably passed due to the company stalling on delivering information. If anyone out there has a suggestion on how I can get my money back or at least publicly expose this awful SCAM I would love to hear it.
