National Health Care NHC, NHS, NHC Phone Scam has costed me $330.00 and a big head-ache

I was contacted by phone and told by the operator of NHC (Customer Service) that I was a honest hard working citizen and because I faithfully contributed to Medicade I was intitled to a refund of $500.00. I doubted this at first and hung up. They called me back within 5 minutes and tried to explane that this was just a verification phone call and to just answer the questions. I hung up again. They called me back in 5 minutes and "talked me in to" answering the questions and in adition to the refund I would receive a $100.00 gas card with my welcome kit.

So I answered all the questions given by a pre-recorded service, and never received my welcome kit. I had $29.95 taken out of my account on 8-1-07 and called them to find out why. I asked to have any account canceled and my money refunded. They told me I had to wait for my welcome kit to arrive to cancel.

I had $299.95 taken out of my account on 8-15-07 and demanded a refund but to this day they keep telling me to call back in 48 hours. I contacted my bank to get my money back for me. If anyone has any information about this company that could help, please let me know.
