When I joined Comm South a little over a month ago, it took them almost 2 weeks to start my service. I requested caller ID, which I did not recieve but paid for. After one month I got my bill in the mail. I was going to use my credit card to call and make a payment, but my phone service was disconnected. The disconnection date on the bill was still a week away, but I had my service stopped anyway for some reason.

I called from another phone to find out what was going on. They told me I had not paid my bill so they terminated my service. I informed them that the bill had only gotten to my mailbox the day before, and that the due date has not even arrived. I asked to have my service restored and she told me it would take up to three business days.

I made the call on a Saturday so that meant my phone would be restored on Wednesday. I called Tuesday to confirm that my service would be restored the next day and the costumer service rep informed me that it would be back on sometime Wednesday. The next day came and my service was still not back. I called them and had to wait almost 40 minutes on hold. When I connected to a person, they told me that the order had not gone out to reconnect my phone until that morning (Wednesday Morning!!!) he also told me that it would take three business days to reconnect my service. I asked him why and he said because they had been busy lately.

After hanging up with them I called back again hoping to get a different person. I did, and got a totally different story. This time they told me that it takes longer to reconnect the phone services between the months of January and February. I lost it by this time and asked to speak to a supervisor. When the suporvisor got on the line he gave me a third story, which was different than the other two.

He also was very rude when I asked him to completly disconnect my service so I could use another company. He told me that it would take 3 business days to completly disconnect my line. Its just a vicious circle of lies at this company. All in all I spent over 120 dollars for half of a months service. If you are considering using Comm South please be advised that they WILL rip you off.
