Would not exchange items as advertised. Changed website after I complained

The items I ordered did not fit. There was no invoice in the package so I didn't know what to do about exchanges.
I e-mailed asking for exchange instructions. After a week, I e-mailed again.
They responded saying only that all sales were final. I sent them a copy of the return policy from their site which talked about exchanges.
They cursed at me and changed their site so it now says all sales are final.
