Enforces contract, even when they can not or have not provided service BEWARE ripoff RoundRock

I bought and closed on a new home in October. Please forgive me because the dates are estimates, as a lot of time has elapsed. I should have reported this sooner, however felt no one could help. We signed a contract to have alarm monitoring service in exchange for a free alarm system, and free installation.

When the installer arrived, our home phone line had not been connected yet. The installer stated he would not be able to finish installation. I asked him to rescheldule, he contacted his dispatcher and was told they would not be in our area again for some time. He stated he would do the install, and I should call to have the test done when the line was connected. We agreed.

When we called the service center to have the test done on the system, the center could not recieve a signal from our system. We spent hours with tech support, do this do that, still did not work. They sent us a new system, which we switched out, still did not work. I wanted to cancel account/contract. Was told I could not cancel contract, however, inspite of the fact that Protect America could not monitor our system, they continued to charge me, and not send anyone out to fix the system.

Upon suggestion of my bank, Wells Fargo, I closed the account that they were automatically debiting, and the payments to them did stop. However they continue to try to enforce, as well as collect on a contract that can not be enforceable, due to I still do not have service, nor have I ever had service.
