Ripoff Bank Credit Card Scam with account at Calnet Business Bank in Sacramento, California Supposedly In

Spectra Financial Benefits called my mother offering her a limited time credit card offer. The "MasterCard" was suppose to have a $3000 limit, 0%APR for the first 3 years, 4.9%APR after the first 3 years, no annual membership fees, no annual fees whatsoever with only a one-time activation fee of $249. Unfortunately my unsuspecting mother completed the phone call and had the funds withdrawn from her bank account, though that was on 1/26/05 and today is 1/31/05. Much to her dismay after not recieving a credit card she stumbled upon a scam report of a company with a similar name with the same scam. This prompted me to do some digging and while I don't know if this matters or not but the account the scam funnels the money to is with Calnet Business Bank in Sacramento, CA. I find it disturbing that a "Member FDIC" bank doesn't notice something like this going on... Then again maybe it appears much like most other business accounts. For anyone interested here's any and all information/numbers/blahblah that I could find related to my mothers case.

Now here's where I found Calnet in the whole thing... On the reciept for the electronic check there was a stamp with the following letters and numbers:
