I bought this monitor at the end of 2011 for my son, as he co slept for 6 months I didn't use it until he moved into his cot. After using this monitor for 15 months the temperature display on the base monitor has broken and now only shows half of the temperature. Also, the parent monitor cuts out when my son starts crying if the volume is above level two. I attempted to return the monitor to the store who will not assist me because they only offer a guarantee for the first year. I am very disappointed at how long this monitor has lasted, I would expect to be able to use this for future children but at the very least expected it to last to be used for one child. I would have liked to contact tommee tipped directly but they do not have a complaints contact on their website. Very upset about this.
