Ripoff More Sprint lies when terminating contracts

I see this all too often on here and let me add my poor experience with Sprint to the pile:

I was assured by Sprint last Dec that no contract was in place so I cancelled service and requested my number be transferred. Sprint, of course, did neither, and finally transfered my number 4 months later. Of course they then sent bills claiming breach of contract, which I promptly pointed out was a lie because they had told me there was no contract. I refused to pay for any more service.

They then turned it over to collections who misrepresented the debt first as services for 4 months, then as a "breach of contract" fee. These people were equally ignorant.

Finally out of frustration I settled the debt for 50% of what they claimed was owed IF they sent a letter confirming that no adverse marks would be on my credit, that the settlement was not an acknowledgment of a debt actually owed, and that I would receive no more phone calls.

I see that many people have had similar experiences with these unethical goons and their piss poor service. I am an attorney in GA and while I generally detest class actions, these people must be punished and should be sued along with their collection agents so I will also join any current suits or add myself as counsel in any suits pending if my help is needed. Please contact me by using the rebuttal box below and let me know if anyone is interested, for the good of the public, in exposing these people as the criminals they are. They cannot be allowed to hold credit hostage for debts that are not owed. These are mafiaoso type tactics at their finest.
