Won't take cash for a perscription. Seriously?

My fiancé went to walgreens to pic up a long standing prescription and has being going to walgreens for years. He lost his insurance and now pays 100% for all of his prescriptions. This new pharmacist would NOT fill his prescription because he was paying cash. Seriously. How many people use their insurance and never get questioned? But because he is a hardworking person and EARNS his money to get what he needs he got denied. Time to find a new pharmacy after 20 years as I have to pay cash for mine as well. Talk about discrimination... Oh yeah and all of this happened AFTER they talked to his Doctor to see if it was a "legit" prescription... When I contacted the 800 number they sided with the Pharmacist saying that it was her decision and they would stand behind the Pharmacist. This is messed up!!
