Today (5/21) Shiloh Target, Illinois. Tried to exchange a pair of white, ankle skinny jeans, that I had bought three days ago. They were too small. So I was told to go look for the size I wanted. Which was almost impossible as everything was now on clearance and the store was a mess. So I spent about 10 mins looking and to find out they no longer had my jeans from what I could see. So I asked if I could have a store credit. They said they could just issue a refund. So they took my receipt and after some humming and making of faces decided that they couldn't scan the receipt as the bar code wasn't legible. Even though it clearly had the date I bought the jeans, the name of the jeans and the price. Plus my jeans still had a tag. BUT because I made the cardinal sin of paying by cash, the best they could do was a $15 refund (on a target gift card). When I paid $22.99 three days before. Seriously? My receipt shows I paid almost $8 more than that! I had been a big fan of Target, before this. But I will not be going back. Very poor customer service.
