Ripoff Would Not Honor Price Guarantee

I purchased a pair of Flexon Model 196 and FeatherWate lens for $274 @ the LensCrafters in the Apple Blossom Mall In Winchester VA. Their WRITTEN price guarantee states that they will refund the difference if I find a lower price within 30 days of purchase at a competitor for the exact frames and lenses, in stock.

I found the EXACT same frames and lenses on the internet @ GO-OPTIC.com. (IN STOCK) They were $58 cheaper and that INCLUDES shipping.

Store Manager AND Regional Manager refused to honor the guarnatee saying that because the Internet Company can't do my glasses in an hour they don't consider them competition.

I pointed out that the guarantee does not mention anything about having to be done in an hour or exactly who is the competition. I was told all I could do was bring the glasses back for a full refund.

So... I will bring BOTH glasses back (totaling $364) and purchase them on the internet. They lost two sales and a customer over $58!!!

When they say that, "They will do anything to make the customer happy", I guess that it is provisional. I guess that when they say, "We will do anything to make the customer happy", that doesn't include honoring their guarantee.
