Refund Refused After Seven Days for Unused Glasses Voucher

I bought a Groupon for $20 that would give me $150 off prescription glasses plus a free pair. I bought it for my husband as a gift. He went in but was not happy with the selection they had so he went elsewhere and purchased them there. I contacted Groupon through email and they said I could not get a refund because it was passed seven days, they told me to use it as a gift (again). Now I'm stuck with something that I can't give out because nobody I know needs it. I myself can't use it as I don't need prescription glasses. I will no longer use Groupon!!!
