Babies R Us Promotional Gift Card Expiration - Promotional Gift Cards

We received a $25 promotional gift card as part of a baby shower gift in mid-December. I tried to use at the Babies R Us store yesterday and was told the card had no value because it expired just ten days prior. When I called the corporate help desk, the rep was able to track the purchase date of the card and confirm that the card had not been used but she said policy does not allow reissue or reactivation of the promotional gift card. Beware of promotional gift card expiration dates!
