West One's poor customer service - Ladies wea

Having been a loyal customer to West One 's ladies fashion store, I was left determined never to shop there again when I was dismissed with a wave of the hand by the Sutton Coldfield branch Manageress. I had spent over £300 in there on Christmas presents for my daughters but was then taken ill with a flu bug which meant I couldn't leave the house for a few days. 2 of the items I purchased were too small so I returned them as soon as I was well, only to be told that because I had bought them at the sale price I had only 10 days to return them and I was 4 days too late. I wasn't aware I had bought them at sale price as the receipt did not indicate that. I explained that I had been housebound for a few days but she dismissed me with a wave of her hand saying 'That is the policy'. Sale or no sale, I feel that a 10 day return over the Christmas period is not good customer service and the offhand Manageress needs lessons in Customer Service. I now have 2 items of clothing that I shall have to give to charity. I certainly will not shop there again with their mean policy.
