Poor return policy, will never again shop there

I had purchased a pair of boots for my daughter that she wanted for christmas. Up until now Aldo shoes have been well made so therefore I have never had to look at returning them. My daughter loved these boots and since christmas has worn them about 15 times. Just the other day she looked and the back of the boot where the sole and shoe meet came unsealed and pulled away from the shoe. I looked at the other one and the same is happening to it. When I looked over the return policy I laughed, 15 days with no wear? So we called the store to see if anything could be done even a repair and was told no, not if they had been worn... How can you possibly say you stand behind a product that is meant to be worn when the only policy you have is without wear? Shoes should be able to withstand wear without coming apart for many months, years even, especially one that you are paying a lot of money for. I have read many issues about their shoes on this board and others about the poor quality of their shoes in recent say the past year or so. Then it was brought to my attention they make their shoes in China... I guess days of quality are gone and charging people the same money for a "used to be" well made shoe is where this company has gone. Too bad.
