All My Sons Moving & Storage
Took 6 hours to move 2 rooms of furniture broke everything except one piece Rude abrasive had to call police

Three movers took over 7 hours to move 2 rooms of furniture from downtown Minneapolis to Eden Prairie. The move was estimated to take 4 hours beginning at 8:30 A.M. However, we soon learned that their afternoon move had been cancelled, and it was obvious that they intended to stretch this move out to compensate.

Furniture to be moved: 1 queen bed, armoire, nightstand, TV from the bedroom. 1 small computer desk, computer chair; 1 small entertainment center & TV, 1 small bookcase, sofa, loveseat, coffee table, 1 small antique school desk, 2 4-drawer file cabinets from living room.

This was ALL, as we had moved all of the clothes, kitchen & bath items, books, plants, computer, printer etc. The previous day.

These men - 2 in particular - were rude and abrasive, had a cocky attitude, and were extremely careless, dropping virtually every piece of furniture. The armoire was dropped off of the back of the truck when they were loading it, splitting the top and breaking off the base support on one side, causing it to tilt drastically when it was placed in the new apartment. The headboard of the bed was broken where the bedframe connects. This was just the beginning!

We eventually had to call the police at the "move to" site, and he reported the events to the president of the company via telephone from the site.

We had to station one person in the apartment, one at the truck, and a third accompanied the movers in between the truck and apartment. Furniture continued to be abused and broken following the policeman's departure, and we had to threaten to call them back to the scene.

On top of that, the estimate of $400 turned into a bill of $1006.00 which had to be paid before they would off-load the truck.

This was simply the Move from Hell!

My advice is to steer clear of All My Sons Moving & Storage' Minneapolis location! I wish we had!

I don't know how they retain their BBB membership / rating!
