On their webpage, in large print, it says Free Estimate... No where on the front page does it say fee for just showing up at your house, or fee waieved if work is contracted ; only in frequently asked questions is there such a statement. I had no questions, ; it seemed quite clear to me., so I didn't check FAQ... Seemed no need... On the phone, I was told there was a service fee, and understood that it was attached to the payment for services rendered, not part of the "free'.' estimate... Of course, if I had known, I would not have asked the repair person to come, hiring instead from a company that really has a free estimate. Their quality of work may be excellent, (I didn't hire them, as now I don't
trust them) but they need to be more up front about their "fees".. And Yes, I felt intimidated, and I paid the fee.
