Shops, Products, Services

I had just got my computer from dell and was not familar with pop-ups.

I was looking for rental property and needed a copy of my credit report. I input information per the credit report company.

Privacymatters popped up and told me I could get a free credit report. It asked for my bank info. But assured me I would not be billed. It was supposedly needed only to send me information online.

User names, screen names, and passwords were all new to me. When I submitted my request I was informed either my password or Email address or Uswername was incorrect.

I was told to submit again. Needless to say, each time I submitted I was billed. I never got the credit report online or thru the mail.

In checking my bank statement, I had been billed by privacymaterrs over $55.00. I called the company and spoke to a customer service rep. Kathy. I was told they would not bill my account and would cancel my membership.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told by Felicia, the supervisor that I would not get a refund. There was no-one else to talk to. And she told me good-bye and hung up on me. Totally I was out of $68.00. I never got a report of any kind from privacymatters!
