Billing 29.95 per month for past 4 months for "free" credit report ripoff

Education & Science

A few months back, I was planning to buy a car. I thought it may be a good idea to take a look at my credit report. I made the mistake of logging on to www.privacymatters.com for a "free" report. Without authorization, they have charged my credit card/checking account 29.95 each month for the past 4 months. $120 for a free credit report. I have read several other stories exactly like mine, so I thought I'd say that this is an ongoing issue. PLEASE, do not bother getting a credit report from this company.
