Moving ripoff damaged property, lied to BBB, refuses to contact me or settle damage claim

I contracted with Liberty Van Lines through Movingcost.com to move me from Gilbert, AZ to Wylie, TX in March of this year. When my belongings arrived on 3/28 there were several damaged items. I submitted my final damage claim to Frank at Liberty Van by fax on 4/28. He never responded to me. On 5/11 I asked Movingcost.com to contact him which they did and faxed another copy of the damage claim. On 5/21 Frank told Movingcost.com it would take up to 90 days to process my claim. I called Frank on 6/30 requesting a status, he never returned my call.

At that point I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Phoenix. Frank responded to them indicating he would settle for $100 and that he would contact me with the settlement offer. He never contacted me. The BBB forwarded Frank's letter to me and I responded to him indicating that, although the $100 was less than what they owed me according to the $. 60 per pound insurance (total weight 345 pounds) I had, I was willing to accept their offer if a check was sent to me within two weeks. Once again, no response.

Liberty Van Lines has been rude, dishonest, and fraudulent in their dealings with me. They will say whatever they need to say to resolve the dispute, but never follow through on their offers. Eight months later I still have 6 damaged items for which they owe me compensation and I have never heard from their company directly to settle this. My only other avenue at this point is small claims court, which I am seriously considering.
