Never an agent available to accept cancellation during so-called trial period

I received a letter in the mail stating that I could cancel my subscription (membership) with a simple phone call to 1-877-697-1788 but waited one hour before hanging up on the first call. According to the letter they threatened that my failure to cancel my membership during the 20-day period would result in my credit card being charged $39.95 a month My patience gave out after 30 minutes on my second attempt. As a result, I do not believe there are any customer service operators assigned to that number.in addition there is nothing on the website that allows for communication or cancellation. This is obviously a scam.
