Charges membership fees without sending member info during trial period

I signed up online for a "free" 3-month trial membership.
Travelers Advantage was supposed to send member info including all member benefits and a list of participating hotels which give 50% off to members.
Within two and a half months I had not received the member info, so I called to cancel my membership during the trial period, before the $69.99 would be billed to my credit card.
The customer service rep said she would send all the information, plus two certificates for $35 each for cash back, if I would not cancel. She promised to send the member info that day.
Two weeks later, still no member info in the mail, but a $69.99 charge on my credit card from Travelers Advantage, and I still have NO idea what I have purchased.
I called again to cancel. This time, the customer service rep promised to send two $40 certificates for cash back and the membership information.
I'll wait another two weeks but I have a feeling this company is just a rip-off and maybe there is no membership information at all to send.
If you have a vacation coming up in the near future and want to save some money (like I did), don't count on this company. My family vacation was three weeks ago and the sole purpose for signing up 3 months ago!
