The J. Peterman Co
J Peterman clothing stores rip-off

Shops, Products, Services

I made a purchase at a J. Peterman store which was then returned in exchange for a gift certificate in the amount of $152.29. Sometime later, I returned to the store to redeem the certificate, only to be told that J. Peterman has filed for bankruptcy and is no longer honoring their gift certificates. Note: I was standing INSIDE a J. Peterman store, being told that J. Peterman stores no longer exist.

The store manager, Lynn Campbell, gave me a phone number to call to discuss the matter. The number was disconnected. I retained a second number from Information which got me a recording telling me to call a third number for the Russell Cave Company which was supposed to be handling these inquiries. None of these numbers were toll-free. I have called the third number three times, always getting bounced around in a voice-mail system and have left specific messages, including details about my request, phone numbers and best times to reach me.

I have received no return call or correspondence.

Can you help me get my money back?

Thank you so much for your time.
