Hi,

First off I would like to thank you for your site, I honestly thought I was the only one going through this. I just wish I had a done a quick search on this company I would have found out that they were a bogus company. I actually found out that they are not even registered with the chamber of commerce and business bureau as a moving company's basically what they are doing is they are subcontracting the moving services with other companies, then once they get your stuff, they don't pay them, you're stuck. I found all this out in the last 24 hours. I would advise all the people who have fallen victim to these crooks, is to go through their documents, to find the name of the company that actually picked up their stuff, because they would know where their stuff is. I have given up on trying getting my money back, if it is true this company is facing bankruptcy. I have decided to now find out exactly where my shipment is and use another company to ship my items from LA (where they said they stored my stuff) to it's final destination (the United Arab Emirates).

I sent out an email to tp://www.1-directory-international-movers.com / and explained to them that I wanted a moving company to take over my shipment from dolphin international (RIPOFF) company and have them ship it to Dubai, UAE. And that I would pay the cost for that shipment.

Someone called Barry Karr of www.shippingcunsltants.net wrote back to me telling he could help and explained that dolphin was going out of business very soon, and that many of their customers shipments will be deserted, and advised that I give him my shipping details, and he would find another company that would ship my stuff from where ever they are now, to Dubai (UAE). Now I don't know if this person is another con artist or a Good Samaritan, I think perhaps he is making money off of helping me by bringing clients to this other shipping company. If anyone has done what I have done and has received a similar email, please let me know. And if anyone does have any better advice on what I should do please don't hesitate, please post your info below to help others as well!

Like all of you, this situation has been a nightmare; I just graduated, and was moving to another country, all my stuff and gifts for family and friends have been locked away in some storage facility.

I really hope all of us can get our stuff back inshallah (God-Willing)

Peace

Shaima
