Green dot debit card they add your money then won't activate card and don't send your money

My son in law sent me $311 by moneygram to get my daughter (his wife) here in california for christmas from alabama. We was suppose to get the plane ticket on dec 19 so we can get the ticket at that price.

We purchased one of these visa green dot walmart money cards and put the $311 on this card. Went home to activate it and they tell me they cant activate it due to my info was incorrect which i cant understand how.

I gave it to them 5 times. They would not work with me considering that they just screwed up our christmas by saying that they will send me a refund check in 10 days which will be after christmas so now the ticket will cost me about 600 bucks and my daughter won't be home for christmas.

I raised so much hell with them on the 19th of dec they said they would overnight my check so i would have it within 3 days well it has been 3 days and i called them and they still have not sent the check yet.

These idiots has not ruined our christmas and all they can say is we are sorry well sorry don't bring my daughter home for christmas!

My son in law also bought one of these cards to pay his phone bill due to he is a truck driver and it is hard to find a phone place where he can get in and out with a semi so he bought one of these cards and put over $150.00 on it to call in and pay over the phone and he got screwed the same way.

They said the same thing they cant activate the card due to information given can not be verified for some unknown reason and they would mail him a check. Now his phone will be disconnected due to lack of payment.

Do not buy these prepaid cards they will screw you over and keep your money!
