Chetty Towers Pest Infestation

My story began in November of Myself and my significant other moved into a property of Chetty Builders in Coatesville, Pa. Our first month of living in the apartment we began to awake with bite marks, if not every night, every other night! This went on for months (approximately 4 months) until we found a bed bug in our bed! During this time we were informing them about our dilemma and asked if an exterminator could come out. They informed us that their "professional" maintenance man was trained to look for bugs or any infestation. He was not! He claimed to have examined our apartment but when we returned to our apartment no furniture was moved and the main problem of things (our bed) was still neatly folded. After that we took matters into our own hands and that's when we took a whole night looking for anything that might be biting us, that is when we came across our vermin, the bed bug. We informed Chetty and they claimed they were not there upon arrival but after talking to other tenants within the building we discovered it came from the apartment above us. They completely ignored our "cries" for help and every attempt to reach them some excuse was given. This happened with maintenance as well.

Upon moving in we were told that our light in the bedroom would be fixed but nothing was done about it until the end of January! We lived a whole month with no light in our bedroom due to their laziness. (All the maintenance man had to do was pull down/connect a wire from the ceiling fan). After months of battling with Chetty and various complaints they finally sent an exterminator out to our apartment 5-7 times for the bed bugs to be entirely gone due to Chetty not allowing the exterminator to thoroughly investigate the entire apartment building. But soon after the bed bugs were gone (at least from our apartment) we had to deal with fleas!!! There was a basement directly below our apartment and the stray cats got into the basement due to the lack of care to the building with a broken cellar door and various holes and cracks within the building. We now had a flea infestation which was never corrected until this very month (December)!

Shortly after our flea problem we had another visitor, this one not that easy to get rid of. Roaches!!! Some how and somewhere roaches have arrived to the party at that apartment! And from my knowledge they're still there! This report is to let people know even after years of complaints Chetty Builders is still up and running and not to rent from these so called professionals, all you'll gain is a headache and a longevity of scars to prove their chaotic rentals.
