Seller Sent a Counterfeit $14,000 Birkin Bag, No Refund

I paid $14,000 for a Birkin from luxwear.com on eBay. When the Birkin arrived, I didn't like the look of it at all (the leather smelled odd, the clochette was very stiff, the stitching looked as if it had been done by a machine) and consequently took it to my local Hermes store. They very quickly identified it as a counterfeit item.

I complained but they kept insisting it was the real deal and I never got my money back.
