Shady landlord proclaiming to be Christian

This landlord, who claims to have a Christian ministry, has filed a bogus credit claim against my husband and I. We rented property from them in July and paid them all the rent they were due. They claimed we left the property in unfit condition and charged us for repairs even thought the complex manager saw the condition of the place and did not seem to think any repairs needed to take place when we moved out. There was previous damage which we notated on our move in sheet but they claim we did the damage. They claim the unit was dirty and charged us a cleaning fee even though we scrubbed the small unit for over 2 hours to make sure it was clean before we left. They also charged us a late fee on rent which they said we did not owe when we moved out. They sent a untruthful claim to the National Tentant Network and to the collection agency even though we paid them before thirty days after rent money was due. Now the collection agency is placing a bad mark on our credit report which may keep us from getting a home loan in the future. This all happened in less than thirty days from the time we thought the issues had been resolved. Our attorney has looked at our case and believes the landlord to be at fault so when it goes to court I am sure we will prevail. That isn't going to help with the credit issue though and their claim it totally unjustified. Poor communication from the landlord and unethical practices on their part have prompted me to file this complaint.
