Eldon puts an ad on CL, this particular one was for an event coordinator / designer. He sets up a meet with you, at his barber shop in North Miami. The meeting goes nice you think that you are on the same page. He says that you will get 30% of profit from each show and since I was designing costumes he would pay me $10.00 hr for my labor.

In the conversation he indicated that his business is new and since launching its taken off and that he was making a couple thousand per event. 30% of that is a pretty nice chunk so I was good with it, i trusted him and didn't make up a contract. I was to pay for the supplies and get reimbursed on the first show. Supplies were a mannequin needed for the particular show, and a few other miscellaneous items.

Long story short I did 30 plus hours of work to make deadline. Stayed in touch with him the whole time, making sure the work I was doing was what he wanted. It honestly seemed good when dealing with Eldon, Its when his business partner / girlfriend gets involved and she pulls the plug on the whole thing. She doesn't like any of the designs, has no reason to hate everything besides she doesn't work well with others or (attractive) females.

The whole thing was a bust! They are a struggling business trying to make it in entertainment as a night life promoter, but really can't even pay their staff a simple 100 dollars as reimbursement. He actually finally met with me, paid me $100 in cash, said a sad story of not having enough money in his account to write out another 100 dollar check. I buy it and let him post date it only to turn around and cancel the check. Very Unprofessiona! Would recommend not to fall for DINEGASM's hype. Not worth time or effort.
