Date and Dash
They hired me to host an event and never paid me what they owe me

I was hired in Miami by Date and Dash to host an event in South Beach for 1 night. I was promised $20 per hour plus the reimbursement of the items i had to purchase to host the event, name tags, ink, paper, pens, etc, which came to a total of $26. I was asked to work 4 hours. One person paid me at the door, $35, which would be deducted from my payment. The event was a disaster, 6 men and 2 women in total, but the manager, Vilius, asked me to do it anyway and offer everyone 1 free event for next time. Anyway, today, after more than 1 month waiting for my payment, I receive a check of $25 total. The manager says the event was canceled and that i didn't have to work it (a lie) and that he will never pay for the expenses, so he only has to pay me a total of $60 for the night... This is all very crazy, they tell me one thing, they do another, Vilius is definitely trying to get away from paying people!!! He only lies, and on top of everything he emailed me today telling me to "beat it!" he basically sent me to hell... I believe this is not the way to treat anyone that works for you. I have every proof of all the emails he sent to me. Even the event attendees from that night tell me they never got notice of a cancelation or of another free event as they were promised. I want to send a complaint so this business can't go any further playing and lying to people!
