I booked two jobs through Marta Michaud at Cinematic Talent Management and wasn't paid fully for either despite months of reminding, researching, following up, pleading. The first after months (6 months) of not being paid and Marta and her 'Company' stalling, saying they had already sent me a check, then recanting, then saying they hadn't received the check yet from the production co., I had to call the production company (the manager's job, not the actor's) to discover that they had sent the check a long time before. When I was finally cut a check it was minus her cut (this is high-beware and young actors should only agree to or tell the agent to take a hike (I've learned the hard way), but not only was her 20% deducted (what I had agreed to) but on top of that a letter was enclosed with two quarterly chargs of $62.50 - deducted retroactively for the 2 quarters that I had been signed w/them.
