Bus drivers stop for lunch and run late across Atlanta

I moved from NJ to ATL and in all my life I have never seen a bus driver stop the bus, go to a convenience store, pick up lunch or ask the passengers if they mind if he goes to the store. This is the culture of Marta, as this has happened in the upper class area of Sandy Springs, in middle class Stone Mountain, and in the rough and tough 5 Points downtown area. No drivers seem concerned about arriving on time or at least arriving at the scheduled time.

Just amazing! The locals all warned me, don't commute. Marta is hurry up and wait.
