Being Harassed on the phone

I subscribed to The Grant University 2 weeks ago. My husband and I thankfully did not give them a penny because, well, currently we couldn't afford the membership! But since then have been receiving harassing phone calls!

I did not recognize the out-of-area number so at first I did not answer. Then as the day went by that same number called 3 more times! So I finally answered, they claimed they needed to speak to my hubby and I said, "he's not here, may I ask who's calling?"

She responded by saying "No" and just hung up on me! The next few days we received 3-4 calls per day from them and when I would answer they would hang up.

Fed up with it, on my husband's day off Tuesday 12-2-08 he answered the phone and spoke to a man who repeatedly for 5 long minutes tried to coerse him into giving him his credit card information!

Well, that in itself made us very suspicious. So we decided not to invest after all. So yesterday, Thursday 12-4-08 we received another call (hubby at work) I answered and it was that rude woman again!

I proceeded to tell her that my hubby was at work but that we decided to pass on it and before I could say another work she hung up again!

Today, they called again and my hubby answered and told them bluntly that we are no longer interested and to please stop calling. Before he was done with that sentence he hung up on my husband again!

Altough, I did not lose any money, we are losing our patience! They continue to harass us daily and take no for an answer! We do not know what to do any more. 2 weeks of harassing phone calls is ridiculous.

I have a good question though, Are there any real free federal grants out there?
