Reservation Rewards
Enrolled on Fandangon without me noticing and charged me $100

This is what I would call an opportunistic credit card infection. It took me months before I noticed that there was a recurring $10 charge on my credit card from "RESERVATION REWARDS". I called and found that I picked it up while buying tickets from Fandango.com. Please note as a web developer since 1997, I am reasonably web savvy, yet somehow I "signed up" without even noticing!

When you call up, you can press 1 to easily cancel the subscriciption. I spoke to an operator who agreed with very little resistance to refund all the charges (actual refund still pending). This tells me that their business model is based on quietly siphoning money off unsuspecting consumers for as long as they can remain unnoticed.
