RIPOFF rented pornography to teenage

My wife sent my 16 year old daughter to blockbuster to rent some video's while she babysat my youngest daughter. She rented two movies of wihich one was titled, "twisted". The following day the manager called to inform me that the movie in the box was the wrong movie. The movie was actually a pornographic movie. She apologized and asked what she could do to make it up to us.

At the time I didn't think that my kids had seen the movie. I told her that I would have to talk to my wife and get back with her. When I talked to her again, she indicated that she was willing to give us free rentals to make up for the mix up. I told her that when I talked to my kids, they told me that they in fact had put the movie in and had began watching it until they saw naked body parts. I requested to speack to their corporate office and was referred to loren brown a regional manager.

Loren brown again asked what they could do to make it up to us and explained her position on how it happened and that it was not a big deal. She stated that it was just like we had rented the wrong movie and she would credit our account for the late fees that had been accumulated since I kept the xxx movie until I reached some resolve.

Loren had a nasty attitude and treated me with indifference. I told loren brown that my kids liked blockbuster and we wanted to continue our relationship so that they could rent games and videos. (We stopped renting after the incident.) We were previously on their monthly rental program which has unlimited movie rentals for 25 bucks a month. I told loren that I would be happy with 1 year worth of free rentals. She said that she would be willing to give us 1 month of rentals. At that point I told her that it was nice doing business with blockbuster and i hung up the phone.

When she said that my business with her company was only worth $25 after years of renting, I hung up because I was ready to curse her out and I had decided not to let this ignorant woman upset my day any further.

To make matters worse, blockbuster has referred the late fees associated with the movie "twisted" to a collection agency. This was an abbreviated story but I think you get the point.

I would like to let everyone know that blockbuster does not care for its customers. I talked to a lawyer friend and he indicated that it might not be worth my while to pursue the matter in court. I am open to suggestions regarding my recourse in this situation.
