On 18 March purchased 4 Jimmy Buffett Concert tickets for price of $763.50. I had recearched this company and thought it was legit. Our credit card was charged $763.50 within 3 business days. I was told that the tickets would be delivered the week of the concert - I paid an extra $18.00 to have them overnite mail.

I started calling the company a week before the concert (concert date: 27 June in Camden, NJ). I was told during 3 seperate conversations that the tickets were in house and being processed and would be mailed out that day (lie #1). I was told during 2 seperate conversations that week that the tickets had been mailed (lies). We did not receive the tickets and I frantically called the company and I was then told that the tickets would be at the Will Call box office and we were given a phone number for a guy named: Jason, if there were any problems.

Went to the concert and tickets were not at the will call box office so tried to call Jason numerous times, got his voice mail, found other concert goers in the same situation with same company and someone finally got Jason on the phone, he gave us the run around and we finally located him. He did not have our tickets, we were told that our name was not on the list he had (lie #2). After about 10 minutes I got behind him and saw our name on the list and pointed this out to him. He tried to give us 2 lawn seat tickets - we purchased 4 pavillion seats, which is why we were paying so much for them. I told him that he needed to give us 4 pavillion tickets, he did NOT have these.

While we were trying to find out where our tickets were, the Camden Police came up and put handcuffs on Jason and took him off to the side. At this point, we were frantic, no tickets and the concert had already started. Needless to say, we were very dissapointed.

I phoned the Ticketsupfront company 3 times the following day and the voice mail was full (we were not the only people ripped off during this event). I finally got through 29 July and left 2 messages for the owner of the company - Jeff Caplan. I called and left messages for the next 5 days with no return phone call.

On 1 July I actually talked to a person from the finance office of this company - Fred, he told me that all the tickets were delivered and during the process of the conversation stated that I was "stupid".

From 2 July - 13 July, I left a voice mail messages for Jeff Caplan (owner) everyday. On 13 July I actually spoke to Jeff Caplan, he was very nice and also stated that everyone had received their tickets, I stated my case and he told me that the refund would be processed and it would be taken care of (lie #3).

On 19 July I spoke to Fred (accounting office) again and he looked my order up in the computer and stated that my refund had been processed and I would have my $763.50 within 2 weeks (lie #4). I even specifically asked him if he was just yanking my chain and lying to me and he stated that "No, my refund was on it's way...".

I did not receive a refund. On 19 August I called the accounting/finance office again (extension #122) and I spoke to Sarah who was very nice but stated that unless I had filled out a refund report it was not in the computer system - this was the first I heard about a refund report after making at least 15 phone calls to this company (long distance phone calls). She faxed me the form and stated that after they received the form "I would be contacted within 24 hours by the owner of the company" (lie #5). I faxed the filled out form back immediately on 19 August. No one ever called me.

On 21 August I left another very nice voice mail message for the owner of the company - Jeff Caplan, stating that I had followed the proper procedures and no one had called me.

I know that I should let this go and just suck up the loss of the money but I can not. The main reason our the lies that I was told!

This company sold me tickets to a concert that they did not have. I have purchased tickets through various agencies like this in the past without any problems. There were 4 very unhappy concert goers who did not get to see a concert that we had looked so forward to. The concert was on a Thursday so all 4 of us had taken the day off from work and drove to Camden, NJ.

I have made over 20 long distance phone calls to this company without any results. I get the run around every time I call and a different story/lie from each person associated with this company. I have documentation of my order (dated 18 March), documentation of an e-mail sent the day of the concert stating that our tickets would be at the will-call window (dated 26 June), a copy of the fax sent for refund (dated 19 August) and phone records showing the long distance phone calls I made.

My order number is 6636 in their computer. I have tried to be nice about this and I have gotten no where. It is the principle of the matter - they sold me tickets that they did not have and never produced tickets after numerous lies and then did not give me a refund for my purchase after they failed to produce the merchandice. I want my money back! It is bad enough we missed the concert but to have paid all that money makes it even worse.
