I joined Intelliflix when it was DVDBARN and I lived in Omaha, NE. The price was great. My dvds were coming from the west coast, but all Omaha mail went through Iowa before it got to us. This would always add an extra day/2 to shipping times. Cancelled my account because of this.

I moved to South Carolina, and asked them ahead of time if they had any distribution centers in SC and was told they had one in Columbia. This was great, should speed things up, right?

Wrong!

Apparently what they have done is 'network' with mom/pop video stores around the country. When you are ready for an item in your queue, whatever store has it is supposed to ship it to you. I've been with them in SC for almost 6 months now and have yet to receive one item from their 'Columbia' distribution center.instead I receive the majority from MA, NH & TX, although I have received 2 items from Myrtle Beach SC (only took 3 days to get it!).

I have filed numerous 'trouble tickets' regarding the slow shipping. The latest 2 - 6 days for items from TX to SC (900 miles). They also have a 'on it's way back' function which is supposed to allow you quicker turnaround. Unfortunately, if you set it that morning, they do not acknowledge it till that night, and then the next day an item will be 'in process' for shipping to you, so it's still 2 days turnaround. Lately my queue has shown '2 titles out' for almost 2 weeks now. Why? Because one of those is 'on it's way back', and they haven't sent a replacement. I also showed their website that said an item shipped 11/30, but it was postmarked 12/5. How'd they do that?

On a brighter note, with all the complaints I have filed, they DID extend my membership for 6 weeks, however they fail to address the issues:

Their website claims they have more distribution centers than blockbuster and netflix. LIE.

Their website claims 'next day or free in select cities' however they will not tell you what these cities are. LIE.

Their goal is 1-3 days delivery time. I have yet to see 3 days delivery time for any items. LIE.

They claim to have 3 TIMES the selection of other sites. This is because they carry games & adult which they use in their stats. DECEPTION.

I have 13 items in my queue that have been there for over 5 months and none have been filled. These are NOT 'hot' items, most are TV/DVD series. The last item that was filled in my queue was number 26. This was the best one they had in stock in their 'more distribution centers than any other DVD supplier'??? LIE

I have cancelled my account at the end of the next period. I agree with the others that have filed complaints. They are crooked and could do MUCH better if they wanted to, but they don't seem to care. I would rather take my chances with Blockbuster or Netflix.
